Dear Downtown Brockton Property Owners and Business Owners:
Whether you are a long-time downtown institution or new to the neighborhood, you are here, and we greatly appreciate your investment. There is a group of business leaders and property owners who are looking into the formation of a Business Improvement District (BID) in downtown Brockton. We have agreed to take a lead role with the great support of Mayor Sullivan, the Planning Office and MassDevelopment. Several BIDs have been established throughout Massachusetts and have served to aid and enhance business activities. A BID is a designated area in which property owners choose to initiate.
Please find the brochure with more information about the BID and what it means to you. We held focus groups, launched surveys, and received a lot of great feedback for us to take this next step. We are going to be reaching out to each property owner in the area.
